This formal letter written has some similar factors of the things I would like to include in my letter. I really like the alignment of the signature at the bottom. I do not like how each paragraph is indented though. For my letter I would let each paragraph start at the left hand side of the page. I like how the school name/slogan is included at the top. This is something I am definitely going to include in my college recruitment letter.
This is another example of a formal letter that I looked at. I really like how each paragraph is not indented and they all start at the left hand side. I also really like how the information in this example is broken up into different paragraphs. This creates a good division of details. I do not like how the school name/slogan is at the bottom of the page. I feel as though that is a distraction. I prefer it to be placed at the top of the letter. The signature at the bottom does not look formal because the slogan is in the way. I do like how the name/slogan is in color though because this adds contrast to the letter.
I really like everything about this letter. The name/slogan is at the top of the page, all the different paragraphs start on the left hand side of the page, the date is properly placed at the top and the signature is properly placed at the bottom. I also really like how this letter starts out with "Dear" because it indicates it is a formal, not friendly letter. This would be the best example of how i want my letter to look.
I choose to create a professional letter towards high school parents because it allowed them to see why their student should come to Bloomsburg University. This letter was created to show parents that every student has a variety of activities at Bloomsburg no matter where you are from, whether you are instate or out-of-state student. College is what you make of it and how much you want to get out of it. However, the opportunities are there for every at Bloomsburg to blossom and become the best person they can be. Being an instate student or an out-of-state student does not really affect ones college experience unless they let it.
